Good Faith Estimate (No Surprises Act)
If you are paying for therapy out of pocket (not using insurance), you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of the expected cost of services.
Typical Fees
Individual therapy (50–55 minutes): $150 per session
The above is my set rate, however fees may vary depending on session length, frequency, or the type of service provided.
Sliding scale options may be available on a limited basis.
What This Estimate Means
A Good Faith Estimate shows the expected costs of therapy services over a period of time, based on the information available at the time it is provided. Actual charges may differ if your treatment needs change.
Your Rights
Under federal law, if you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you have the right to dispute the bill.
You may ask for a Good Faith Estimate:
Before scheduling services, or
At any time during treatment
Self pay clients will be provided a Good Faith Estimate upon intake. To request a Good Faith Estimate, please contact me directly.
