I provide therapy for thoughtful adults who are grieving, navigating a big change, or wanting more out of life. This feeling often shows up as anxiety, depression, trouble connecting with others, or maybe just feeling stuck and unsure what the hell to do next.

I especially love working with people who are burned out from taking care of everyone else or holding themselves to extremely high standards.

Clinical Approach & Background

  • How we'll work together

I’m an insight-oriented and collaborative therapist, and I believe the relationship we build together is what makes therapy a transformative space. I aim to be warm, honest, and curious about who you are and what matters most to you, and I value humor and often bring it into the room.

Together, we’ll talk through your current struggles, discuss how past attachments and experiences may be shaping how you move through the world, and discover new ways to move forward, including some tools for the really hard phases.

Some sessions are about having room to talk it all out, and others are about leaving with something practical. We’ll go at a pace that fits you and adjust as we learn what helps.

  • What shapes my work

I’ve led intensive outpatient groups and worked on an outpatient DBT-informed team, which focuses on building skills for intense emotions. Supporting people and families through end-of-life care in hospice taught me there’s no one-size-fits-all model of grief. Instead, we make room for it and figure out how to carry it.

My approach draws on attachment theory, modern analytic and psychodynamic theories, family systems, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (learning to make room for hard feelings while moving toward what matters), mindfulness, and dialectical thinking (the idea of holding multiple things at once).

I stay grounded through my own therapy, regular group consultation, and ongoing clinical training.

Practice Fees & Insurance

Private Pay Fees

  • Initial Intake Assessment: $175 (60 mins)

  • Standard Therapy Session: $150 (50 mins)

Insurance

My practice is in-network with Aetna and Blue Cross Blue Shield of TX, and I am credentialed as an individual virtual provider for United/Optum. If you have one of these plans, I’m happy to bill your insurance directly, and your copay or deductible will depend on your specific plan.

If you have a different plan, I’m happy to provide a superbill so you can submit out-of-network claims on your own. Reimbursement depends on your plan, so I’d suggest checking your OON benefits before scheduling.
